Highlights & Activity

Highlights: Deer stone statue- ancient historical site, Khuvsgul lake National Park, which covers its watershed, the Uur river basin and parts of Zuun Sayan Mountain range, home of rare wild animals and over 200 species of birds.
Activity: Trekking, horse riding, 1-hour cruise trip on Khuvsgul lake, exploring unique life and culture of the Tsaatan people /depending on season/
Tip: Relaxing and hiking along  the lake shore, watching fishes in the lake as it is 1 of purest lake of the world, sunset and sunrise.

Day 2. Flight to Khuvsgul Lake, Deer stone historical site.
Day 3. Short cruise, Tsaatan reindeer family, horse riding.

Day 5. Departure Mongolia.

Itinerary & map    

Day 1, 2
Arrive Mongolia and we will pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Available city tour on request.
Next morning, you will be flying from Ulaanbaatar to Murun with an average flight time of 1:30hr. Upon arrival, our local guide & driver  will meet you at Murun airport.
Then we will drive to Khuvsgul lake which is known as The Blue Pearl of Mongolia, the purest fresh water lake in the country.
On the way, we will visit Deer stone historical site, known as "Reindeer stones” where were found ancient carvings on large monumental stones.
Following this visit, it’s a good opportunity to take photo of migrating birds, lake, various landscapes of grassland, river, and forested mountain. 
After dinner, you will be staying overnight at comfortable traditional ger tourist camp.
Day 3
Day 3 starts with a hiking along the breathtaking shores of Khuvsgul lake, through the land of taiga forest, known as evergreen forest & mountain. 
After exploring the shores of the lake, we will board on the Sukhbaatar ship and travel through beautiful blue lake for 1 hour.
Following the ship tour, you will make a visit to Nomadic ethnic family and have an exciting horse riding for 1 hour.
Depending on the season, there will be optional visit at TSAATAN - the last ethnic group of Mongolia, who lives in high taiga and believes in Shamanism.
The day will end with an overnight stay at comfortable traditional ger camp. 
Day 4
After breakfast we drive to Murun airport for 2 hours and fly back to Ulaanbaatar.
Day 5
Transfer to airport/ train station for your departure Mongolia.
