11 Day Tour of the Gobi Desert

Days 1 & 2   
Meet at Ulaan Baatar Airport, Transfer to Hotel. 
Welcome dinner in the evening.
Next morning fly from Ulaan Baatar to Juulchin Gobi airstrip.
Visit ancient Rock-Paintings at Bulgatai
Sleep at Ger Camp.

 Day 3:

  Visit Dinosaur remains at Bayanzag
  and Oasis Market Gardens at Dal
  Drive to Sand Dunes of Khongrin Els
  via the village of Khoolt.
  Sleep at Ger Camp of Camel Breeding Family.


Days 4,5 & 6:  

Safari/Camel Trek through the Sand Dunes and Oasis stream.
including looking for Gazelle, Wild Ass, Birds of Prey 
and Sleeping in Tents in the Desert,
Climb the sand dunes for sunset.


 Day 7: 
 Drive across Dunes to mountain town of Sevrei.
 Drive to a Nomadic Herding Family.
 Sleep at Ger Camp.


Days 8 & 9:  

Trip to Mountains on Horses or Camels
Visit Sacred Water Spring , see wild Ibex, Snow Leopard's Lair
Sleep in Tents in the Mountains


  Day 10: 
  Drive to Yolin Am via the town of Bayandalai
  Walk through the Vulture valley of Yolin Am.
  Sleep at Ger Camp

Day 11:  

Drive to Juulchin Gobi airstrip for flight
back to Ulaan Baatar.
Visit Gandan Monastery in Ulaan Baatar.
1 night in Hotel in Ulaan Baatar.
Transfer to Ulaan Baatar Airport when leaving
