My trip to the Gobi Desert was definitely the highlight of my trip to Mongolia. Bayanzag (The Flaming Cliffs), Khongoryn Els (The Singing Sand Dunes), and the trip through The Canyons of Yolin Am were all incredible and amazingly beautiful. The sand dunes at Khongoryn Els went well beyond my expectations and they have to be seen, hiked and climbed to be believed. My only regret was that I did not leave enough time to fully absorb all of the sights. I plan on coming back as a result.My tour operator, Enke, was phenomenal and tailored my trip specifically for me accounting for my lack of time availability. Not only that, but she was able to arrange everything with less than a day's notice. The guide and driver she set me up with were friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. They also were flexible to accommodate my own personal interests relating to different sights and activities.I highly recommend Gobi Tours to anyone looking to explore The Gobi Desert but also other parts of Mongolia as well, particularly if you're looking for a tour operator that will set up a trip specifically tailored to your needs.
